Preliminary Rounds: Played
using Classic UNO rules. The objective is to be the first to
discard all cards.
Finale/Championship Round:
Upgraded to UNO Flip! or No Mercy variant
(subject to Arbiters' selection). Brace for extreme rules like
draw-stacking and card swapping.
Tables consist of 4 to 6 players. The top 2 survivors from
each table advance to the next matrix tier.
2. Core Mechanics & Stacking
Stacking is Allowed: If a
Draw 2 (+2) is played, the next player can stack another Draw
2, forcing the subsequent player to draw 4, and so on.
Draw 4 (+4) cards can be stacked on other Draw 4 cards, but
NOT on Draw 2s.
Jump-in Rule: If you have
the EXACT same card (color and number/symbol) as the one just
played, you may "jump in" and play it out of turn. Play
continues from you.
If you cannot play a card, you must draw ONE card from the
deck. If that card is playable, you may play it immediately.
3. The "UNO" Declaration
You MUST physically or verbally declare "UNO"
before your second-to-last card touches the discard
pile.
If you fail to declare "UNO" and another player calls you out
before the next player's turn begins, you must draw a
Four (4) Card Penalty.
Falsely calling someone out for not saying "UNO" (when they
did, or when they don't have one card left) results in a Four
(4) Card Penalty for the accuser.
4. Etiquette & Conduct
Hiding cards, peeking at opponents' hands, or attempting to
slide extra cards into the discard pile will result in
immediate disqualification.
While the "No Mercy" theme encourages psychological warfare,
verbal abuse, use of profanity, or physical altercations are
strictly prohibited and will lead to expulsion.
Any disputes regarding the rules must be settled by the Table
Arbiter. The Arbiter's decision is final.
