1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for and participating in the Checkmate & Chaos Arena 2026 (the "Event"), organized by the BBA Final Year 2023-2026 students of CBALC, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not participate in the Event.

2. Eligibility & Division Rules

  • The Event is exclusively open to enrolled BBA students of College Business Administration Lingraj College (CBALC).
  • Participants may only register for ONE combat division: either Cyber Chess OR UNO: No Mercy. Dual registration is strictly prohibited.
  • The Chess division is capped at 20 participants. The UNO division is capped at 40 participants. Registration is on a first-come, first-served AI-validated basis.

3. Anti-Gambling Policy

The Checkmate & Chaos Arena strictly enforces a Zero-Tolerance Anti-Gambling Policy.

  • No real money, cryptocurrency, assets, or wagers of any kind may be placed on the outcome of any match, game, or tournament within the Arena.
  • This is purely an academic and recreational esports event designed to test strategy and skill.
  • Any participant caught engaging in betting, side-wagers, or gambling will face immediate disqualification, expulsion from the Arena, and potential disciplinary action from the CBALC administration.

4. Code of Conduct

All contenders are expected to maintain professional esports etiquette. Cheating, use of unauthorized software, unsportsmanlike conduct, or harassment of other players, AI bots, or human judges will result in immediate disqualification. The Chief Judge's decisions are final and absolute.

5. Media & AI Processing Consent

By entering the Arena, you consent to being photographed, filmed, and recorded. You acknowledge that your image, likeness, and match data may be processed by our AI systems to generate real-time leaderboards, predictive analytics, and stylized promotional posters.

6. Modifications

The Event Committee reserves the right to modify these terms, the event schedule, or the tournament formats at any time to ensure the optimal functioning of the Arena. Significant matrix updates will be communicated to registered participants.
